At Longbranch Dental Center, most denture repairs are completed the same day in our on-site lab, and some are done in about an hour. Call (903) 455-4161 as early in the day as you can, tell us what broke, and we will give you a time to bring it in. We are open Monday through Thursday.
Repairs measured in hours, not weeks.
Because the lab is down the hall from the treatment rooms, your denture never leaves the building.
Most repairs
Cracked or broken bases, teeth that have broken or come off, and most partial denture repairs are finished the same day.
Some while you wait
Simpler repairs can be done in about an hour. Call ahead and we will tell you what to expect for yours.
Our own dental lab
Nothing is mailed to an outside lab, so there is no shipping time and no extra trip back to pick it up.
Denture repairs, relines and adjustments.
Cracked or broken base
A denture that cracked down the middle or snapped after a drop is rejoined and reinforced in the lab.
Broken or missing tooth
A chipped, cracked or lost denture tooth is replaced with a matching tooth and bonded back into the base.
Partial denture repairs
Cracked partials and broken or missing teeth on a partial. Bring it in and we will tell you what can be fixed the same day.
Relines
The inside of the denture is resurfaced to match your gums again so it stops rocking and slipping. Denture relines →
Rebase
When the pink base is worn out but the teeth are fine, we move your teeth onto a new base.
Sore-spot adjustments
If your denture rubs and causes a sore spot, we find the pressure point and smooth it, usually during the same visit.
What to do right now.
A few simple steps make the repair faster and stronger.
Stop wearing it
A cracked denture can break the rest of the way or cut your gums. Take it out and keep it in a container.
Skip the super glue
Household glue and drugstore repair kits can warp the acrylic, irritate your gums and make a proper repair harder.
Save every piece
Put all the pieces, including any loose teeth, in a bag. Complete pieces make for a faster, cleaner repair.
Call us early
Call (903) 455-4161 as early in the day as you can, Monday through Thursday. We will tell you when to bring it in.
Pick it up, often the same day
Most repairs are finished the same day and some in about an hour. A dentist checks the fit before you leave, and tells you if a poor fit caused the break.
Why an on-site lab matters.
Most dental offices send denture repairs to an outside commercial lab. That usually means leaving your denture and going without teeth until it comes back.
Longbranch has had its own dental lab for years. The same team that makes new dentures here handles repairs, relines and rebases, and prosthodontist Dr. Charles Patterson is on staff for complex cases.
- Most repairs finished the same day
- Some repairs done in about an hour
- Fit checked by a dentist before you leave
- New dentures, partials and implant dentures made on site

A prosthodontist behind the lab.
Most repairs are straightforward. When a denture keeps breaking, no longer fits or needs replacing, Dr. Charles Patterson, our prosthodontist, looks at why and lays out the options, from a reline to implant-retained dentures.

Before you bring it in.
How long does denture repair take?
Most denture repairs at Longbranch are finished the same day in our on-site lab, and some take about an hour. Call (903) 455-4161 early in the day so we can plan lab time for you.
Can I fix a broken denture with super glue?
Please don't. Household glue and home kits can warp the acrylic, irritate your gums and leave a weak, uneven joint that is harder to repair properly. Save the pieces and call us.
Do I need an appointment for a denture repair?
Call first. We will ask what broke and give you a time to drop it off, so the lab is ready when you arrive. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 AM and Wednesday from 9 AM.
Can you repair dentures made by another dentist?
Usually, yes. Our lab repairs dentures and partials no matter where they were made. Bring it in and we will tell you what can be fixed and how long it will take.
How much does denture repair cost?
Most crack and broken-tooth repairs typically cost $100–$300 in the U.S., and relines $200–$700. We tell you the exact fee before we start.
My denture keeps breaking. What should I do?
Repeated breaks usually mean the denture no longer fits your gums and flexes when you bite. A reline, a new denture or implant-retained dentures can fix the cause. Dr. Patterson can tell you which makes sense.
Are you open on Fridays for repairs?
Our office is closed Friday through Sunday. If your denture breaks late in the week, call Monday morning and we will work you in as quickly as we can.
