Who does full-arch implant consultations in Greenville, TX?

Longbranch Dental Center, at 4250 Joe Ramsey Blvd E, offers free full-arch implant consultations. Prosthodontist Dr. Charles Patterson and our implant team review your X-rays and bone, explain fixed full-arch (All-on-4® style) and snap-in implant denture options, and give you a written fee. A fixed full-arch bridge typically costs $15,000–$28,000 per arch in the U.S.

What full-arch means

A whole arch of teeth, held by implants.

Instead of one implant per tooth, a full arch of 10 to 14 teeth is attached to four or more implants. The teeth are fixed in place: you brush them like natural teeth and only the dental team takes them out.

Fixed

Stays in, day and night

No adhesive, no taking it out at bedtime, no clicking or slipping when you talk and eat.

Comfort

No plate over the palate

An upper full-arch bridge leaves the roof of your mouth uncovered, so food tastes like food again.

Chewing

Bite into an apple again

Fixed implant teeth restore much more chewing strength than a conventional denture, so steak and raw vegetables go back on the menu.

Bone

Helps preserve the jaw

Implants stimulate the jawbone the way roots do, which slows the shrinking that changes the shape of the face under a denture.

Options

Four implants, or more

All-on-4® style treatment uses four implants, with the back two angled to make the most of available bone. Some cases call for five or six.

Budget

Not ready for fixed teeth?

Snap-in implant dentures use two to four implants and cost much less. Compare snap-in dentures →

Step by step

From consultation to final teeth.

Most full-arch cases take about 4 to 8 months from surgery to final teeth. You are not without teeth during that time.

  1. Free consultation

An exam, X-rays and, when your case calls for it, a 3D scan of your jaw. We talk through fixed and snap-in options and give you a written fee.

    Visit 1
  2. Planning your new smile

Dr. Patterson plans the teeth first: the bite, tooth size and shape, and how your lips and face are supported. Implant positions are planned to fit that design.

  3. Implant day

Any remaining failing teeth are removed and the implants are placed. Sedation is available, and many patients choose IV sedation for this visit.

    One longer visit
  4. Temporary teeth

In many cases a temporary fixed set is attached the same day or within days. If not, you wear an immediate denture while you heal.

  5. Healing

The implants bond with the jawbone. You eat a softer diet early on and come in for checks.

    Usually 3–6 months
  6. Final teeth

Your permanent full-arch bridge is made and fitted, then fine-tuned until your bite feels right.

Who designs your teeth

A prosthodontist plans your full-arch case.

Full-arch treatment is as much about the teeth as the implants: how you bite, speak and smile. Prosthodontists train for years beyond dental school in exactly this kind of complex tooth replacement.

  • Master of Science in Prosthodontics, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio

Meet Dr. Patterson

Is it right for you?

Good candidates for full-arch implants.

Full-arch implants are a big decision. They are often a good fit if you:

  • Have lost most of the teeth in one or both arches, or have teeth that are failing
  • Wear a denture that slips, rubs or makes it hard to eat
  • Want teeth that stay in and do not cover the roof of your mouth
  • Have enough jawbone, or are open to grafting or angled implants

Smoking and uncontrolled diabetes slow healing, and we will talk with you about both. The only way to know for sure is an exam and X-rays, and the consultation is free.

It was all a very good experience. The staff is very professional and friendly. Alishia did a great job. Dr. Patterson and Patti went above and beyond by taking care of me and prolonging their going to lunch. Thank you all so much. Full-arch implant questions

What people ask before deciding.

Who does full-arch implant consultations in Greenville, TX?

Longbranch Dental Center at 4250 Joe Ramsey Blvd E offers free full-arch implant consultations with an exam, X-rays and a written fee. Prosthodontist Dr. Charles Patterson designs the new teeth. Call (903) 455-4161.

How much do full-arch dental implants cost?

A fixed full-arch bridge on implants typically costs $15,000–$28,000 per arch in the U.S. Extractions, bone grafts and the type of final teeth affect the price. Cherry and CareCredit offer monthly payment options.

Is All-on-4 the same as full-arch implants?

All-on-4® is one brand-name technique for full-arch treatment that uses four implants, two of them angled. "Full-arch" is the general term and includes cases on five or six implants.

What is the difference between full-arch implants and snap-in dentures?

Full-arch teeth are fixed and only the dental team removes them. Snap-in (implant-retained) dentures click onto two to four implants and come out for cleaning. Snap-ins cost less; fixed teeth feel more like natural teeth.

Can I get full-arch implants if I have bone loss?

Often, yes. Angling the back implants, as in All-on-4® style treatment, lets them use the bone that is there, and grafting can rebuild some areas. Your X-rays and scan at the consultation will show what is possible.

Will I be without teeth during treatment?

No. In many cases temporary fixed teeth are attached the same day as the implants or within days. Otherwise you wear an immediate denture while you heal.

How long do full-arch implants last?

The implants themselves can last decades with good care. The bridge on top may need repair or replacement after many years. Regular cleanings and checkups keep both in good shape.
